Guy Meech - Turf Manager, Hawke's Bay
Guy joined our Hawke's Bay team in September 2021 after 15 years of being self-employed. After running a very successful local business called the Strawberry Patch, it was time for a change, so Guy thought he'd transition to being an employee instead.
He's a practical hands-on person who has had vast experience in both the horticultural & retail industries. Guy has always been fully involved at all levels of our businesses and at The Strawberry Patch was managing all aspects of the business which included the production and management of growing Strawberries and vegetable products and the running of a retail shop. This involved a heap of interaction with customers, suppliers and staff.
Guy’s recent promotion to Commercial Projects Executive is a testament to his dedication and exceptional performance. In this role, he oversees corporate contracts stretching from Whangarei to Invercargill, ensuring that Pimp my Lawn's standards of excellence are consistently met.
Known for his meticulous nature, Guy is a fastidious operator who consistently delivers results without drawing attention to himself. His quiet efficiency and commitment to quality make him well-suited for this leadership position.
