Gary Gregory - Turf Manager, Hawke's Bay

Gary's journey with Pimp my Lawn is marked by his dynamic transition from managing one of Hawkes Bay's largest courier runs to becoming an integral part of the lawn care team. His passion and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact on the company and its clients.

After 12 demanding years in the courier industry, Gary sought a change and purchased the first Pimp my Lawn license in Hawkes Bay in 2009. His shift to lawn care reflects his ambition and a desire for a more balanced work-life experience.

Known affectionately as "Mr. Popular," Gary is celebrated for his excellent client service, delivering top-notch lawn advice with enthusiasm and a genuine smile. His incredible work ethic sets a high standard for the turf team.

Gary once owned three licensed operations, but when the chance came to simplify his professional life, he sold them back to Nick and Kate, ensuring he remained a valued team member.

Outside of work, Gary is a high achiever. He played 63 games for Hawkes Bay Rugby, has won six New Zealand titles in rowing, and coaches rugby. His wife Gail is a seasoned beauty therapist, and they have lovely family life with three children and a granddaughter, Lucia, whom Gary adores.
