Phil Byrne - Turf Manager Napier
Phil joined our team in April 2021 after a career in the meat industry, hospitality industry and recently the civil construction industry in customer services. He actually started his career as an apprentice green-keeper attaining his Trade Certificate and has always maintained an interest in gardening and horticulture.
He has also always kept his hand in use of machinery and prior to joining us was working for a local private lawn and garden maintenance company in Hawke's Bay.
Phil is very keen on Rugby and has spent 14 years as part of the management team for the Taradale premiers. He has also dedicated a decade of service in management to the Hawke's Bay rugby union.
He is a very quick learner and is always willing to put in extra effort. His green keeping skills have rushed to front of mind again and he is loving the interaction with his clients and getting back to the outdoors.
